Covering 18 to 24 April 2026. No new wind-relevant documents from MNRE, CERC or CEA this week, so this edition lists the open deadlines instead. Every item is checked against the issuing authority's own document.

1. Three open deadlines for wind developers and buyers

CERC and Ministry of Power · Deadlines from 30 April 2026

Comments on CERC's proposed compensation procedure for extra time on connectivity milestones (covered in the 17 April edition) are due by 30 April 2026. Comments on the draft CERC (Power Market) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026, issued on 17 April, are due by 16 May 2026.

The Ministry of Power has also extended the deadline for obligated entities to submit final Renewable Consumption Obligation compliance details for FY 2024-25 by two months, to 31 May 2026.

Why it matters for wind: The compensation procedure will set the daily cost of delay for every ISTS-connected wind project, so this is the window to comment on the rates. RCO compliance drives corporate demand for renewable power and certificates.
